GeoPreVi 2011 |May 12 – 13, 2011|

The objective of this event is to give an opportunity to the researchers, professionals, graduate and post-graduate students from Romania and abroad to present their latest research work, to make personal contacts with colleagues from other universities, and eventually to build collaboration with business and industry partners.
The conference starts with general (plenary) session and later continues with presentations organized on different sessions. The conference topics are:
1. Educational management in geodesy (e-learning, educational standards, qualifications and competence, knowledge dissemination, etc.)
2. Geodesy and gravimetry (measuring methods, data processing, algorithms, modelling, etc.)
3. Photogrammetry and remote sensing (techniques and methodology used for data acquisition and making of the 3D photogrammetric products for urban and rural development, and environmental monitoring)
4. Methods for land registry and valuation (cadastre, land management, GIS solutions for cadastre, real-estate valuation, etc.)
5. Geodetic engineering (engineering measurements, deformation analysis, underground measurements, etc.)
